Fever is one of the most searched symptoms in Uttar Pradesh—especially during monsoon and winter viral seasons. Most fevers are self-limited viral illnesses. A few require prompt medical assessment.

Seek care promptly if you have

  • Fever lasting more than 3–5 days without improvement
  • Difficulty breathing, chest pain, or confusion
  • Severe dehydration, inability to keep fluids down
  • A rash with fever, or fever with stiff neck
  • Underlying diabetes, pregnancy, or significant chronic illness
